We normally go to the Portland Gilbert's, but we were traveling on 302 and my wife was interested in having a chowder with a bread bowl. We dropped by last night 7/26 and the place was a disaster. The sign said seat yourself, but tables were either unbussed or listed as reserved. There was no one around to ask for help and getting the attention of a waitress, bartender or seemingly non existent manager was impossible. I won't be returning to your Windham location any time soon.
Amazing. Great chowders and rolls. Rainy Portland day made so much fun by great food and really genuine nice staff.

Been here before and loved it. Went today specifically for the chowder, but had such an incredible meal. I ordered the medium clam chowder and the fried oysters lunch, which came with fries and coleslaw. Simply awesome! My husband had the seafood chowder and steamers. Of course, I had to have a couple steamers and they were delicious. Love the deck not to mention the chow! My hubby and I had a great lunch, free music from the place next door (just the right volume) and great service!
