Dr. Selkin is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He is engaging and friendly making you feel at ease. He explained everything well and listened. On the day of surgery, I felt relaxed and confident that everything would turn out well. Dr Selkin followed up that weekend to ask how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr Selkin and his staff which are just as professional and friendly. I wish the rest of my dental process was being done at his office.
Wow, what can I say about Dr. Selkin and his staff. I went in for Mohs surgery and found out my repair was way more than expected. I ended up having surgery to repair my face and from start to finish it has been so good. I broke out in a rash from the adhesive bandage and Dr. Selkin took time out of his holiday weekend to take care of me. His office staff is top notch too. I’m so blessed I had a great doctor to take such great care of me and my face.
I had an urgent problem they led to extraction and they bent over to get me worked in on their schedule. The experience was fantastic for oral surgery lol. Great personalitys, and informative and all that. Brand new office all state of the art. They even had to improvise mid surgery. Dr. Selkin himself worked on my wacky case. First let me just say, I’m only 35, so this whole experience prior to Dr. Selkin and the reason for having to see him, was quite difficult for me to process. Recently I had gone to my dermatologist for a spot I didn’t have any clue what it was. After the biposy came back positive for skin cancer, I was told I would need it removed, but due to the delicate location of it, I would also need plastic surgery. I was very nervous about my first appointment with Dr. Selkin. I could not have been more at ease after meeting him. I was married to a dentist and worked for many oral surgeons and orthodontists in my past careers. My visit was wonderful, he was wonderful, staff was wonderful, and I would highly recommend him to any and everyone.
There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Selkin truly is!! He helped me greatly in a time of need. I had suffered facial fractures and required surgery. However, I waited longer than I should've to get the procedure. Dr. Selkin identified this on my first visit to his office. I saw him on Monday and 6 days later I was having my operation. Dr. Selkin and the medical pros there are great. But dealing with the office is a nightmare. Can never get through. Wait for hours on hold. Or they never call back. Today when they finally did after waiting weeks, the finance woman was just awful to me and my wife during a very upsetting time. Like she was doing us a favor to even talk to us. It was humiliating, unbelievable, and inexcusable. Someone needs a reality check.
I went to Dr. Selkin to have a Basil Cell Carcinoma removed from my left lower eye lid. My eye has healed and there are virtually no signs of the surgery. This was by far the best surgeon and team I've ever experienced. Dr. Gil and his staff including Becca, Lauren, Ashley and Sam make you feel so at home and comfortable, they are the most caring team you will ever meet. A wonderful,skillful,caring doctor !! My husband ,86 years old, had an extensive squamous carcinoma surgery which Dr. Gilbert performed beautifully ! It was a difficult job , but he tackled it with the masterful performance ! We are very grateful and will recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone !,,
