Go for the bbq sampler platter to try all the delicious options, including the gator ribs. Crispy Brussels with their mac & cheese were on point. The cobbler for dessert was legit.
I just want to say, thank you. I'm sitting here in a food coma and my mouth is just beyond happy. If it could do a happy dance - it would. On a quick trip through the area, I called in a to-go order of the blackened ends platter, with coleslaw and max & cheese as my sides. Can I just mention that I'm glad I got a to-go order. I would not have wanted to eat this amazing food in public, as the faces I made while savoring this deliciousness were not any I'd feel the need for the general public to witness. Stopped in for lunch on Tuesday, met Chef Kenny Gilbert. Awesome guy, great personality, great place! Love the food, been there a few times and will be back again!
I wasn't aware of the reservations policy but they were able to accommodate us with a table out front. The food was great and the staff was very knowledgeable about the specials of the day. Our experience was definitely worth the drive from Jacksonville.
