AMAZING food. Really amazing. Wanted to savor every bite of unique cuisine concoctions. You must try the alligator. Plenty to share, but you may not want to. Great bargain. Great foody experience.
My husband and I are HUGE fans of Kenny's cooking! We will be regulars. Treat yourself....you'll be glad you did.
If you want to eat something different and amazing - Gilbert's UK is the place to go. Mr. Gilbert is a culinary genius. His stuff is NOT from any ole cookbook. Saturday night was my second visit.. I had the venison and it was absolutely delicious. First time I ever tried fiddlehead ferns and they are sooo good. I also sampled the alligator ribs - fantastic and very different from tail meat - and mashed potatoes - perfect.
Kenny has hit this one way outta the park! Gone yard! His renditions of southern classics rate divine. We enjoyed multiple courses leisurely outside under the stars listening to great music in comfortable patio seating. We had menu selections as well as a few pop up options from this weeks Mexican inspired menu. The Pop up menu changes weekly letting Kenny flex his culinary prowess offering some authentic cuisine from random regions. Visited from Atlanta with the family. If you are on Amelia Island this is the place to try. This guy is a very talented man.

The menu at Gilbert's Underground has something for everyone, nice shareable portions. The waiter was phenomenal and that made a big impact on my decision to visit more often. I really try to limit my dining out, but I'll be back as often as I have an opportunity. Count on me to spread the word! Great job Chef Gilbert.
