From Someone Who Knows Let me first say that I have lots of experience with pediatricians. I have seen pediatricians in 5 states while my husband has moved us around for graduate school. I have four kids with frequent and severe ear infections, a daughter prone to various other infections, and a son with asthma. We have allergies, including those to several antibiotics. Gilber Pediatrics-RUN!! Worst experience ever. Do not take your children here. They are disorganized and wait times are ridiculous and the staff is extremelly rude. Also, they do not work well with standard insurance such as BCBS or United Healthcare. They quote "don't feel it's there job" We were a number not a customer and our children were treated as such. RUN RUN RUN!!!
Sr Very rude office staff. They treat you like you are a no body. Unorganized in billing by Sheryl. She should not be involved in medical billing.
AWESOME!!! I LOVE the doctors at this office, especially Dr. Leavitt and Dr. Guthrie! Melanie, the Nurse is great too. We have been bringing our son to Gilbert Pediatrics (Gilbert Childrens Medical Group) since February 2005 when he was first born and have been bringing our daughter there since she was born in January 2010. Fantastic experience... out of date reviews? I don't know how old all these other reviews are but the only problem I have with this Pediatrics office is sometimes, it does take a while to get in even with an appointment. However, that being said, the receptionist, nurses, and Dr.'s have all been fabulous to work with. They are very helpful in helping me understand any problems my 17 month old daughter may be having and have given me great advice on milestones she should be reaching as she grows and gets older. Two Thumbs Up!!! We love Gilbert Pediatrics! My two daughters have been seeing Dr. Auxier for the last 3 years. Never have I walked in to see a filthy office, nor is it perfectly neat...it's a Pediatrics' Office for crying out loud!!! The waiting area is set up in a comfortable, kid-friendly manner. Yes, there may be books, magazines and sometimes a kiddie cup that might be sitting in a chair or maybe on the floor... but, that's kids for you! Rude Staff Doctors are good. Receptionist is very nasty & rude. This is the 3rd time I had a run in with her & she has a real attitude. The nurses aren't friendly either. You would think for a pediatric doctors office everyone would nice and caring but not here. Looking for a new Dr. ASAP
No thanks I was less than impressed with Gilbert Pediatrics from the minute I walked into their facilities. The place was dirty, crowded and just didn't feel clean and welcoming. I was afraid that we were going to walk out of there with more illness than we came in with. I wasn't impressed with the staff or the Dr. I saw. I felt like they were all more concerned with getting people in and out of there than truly taking the time to understand why I was concerned and there in the first place. Poor Service I took my daughter to the clinic and they did nothing to help her. They did a referal to the hosipital and charge a subtantial amount of money of a 3 minute visit. Also after it was all said and done they never sent me a bill and turned it over to collections. They claimed to have tried to call and I recieved no calls or bills. Now it cost me more than it should have. Not recomended in any way.
