great breakfast, friendly service...

Love it! Bloody Mary’s are the best!
Gilbert House has been a family favorite for over 10 years. The food is delicious, fresh, and there are a lot of healthy options on the menu. The service is fantastic....and best of all is when we run into Susan (the owner), and she warmly greets us by name. 😊
The service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. Unfortunately the food is not on par with foodie expectations of 4+ stars. All of the food was served lukewarm, quickly turning cold. The chicken fried steak was made out of a preformed patty with “sausage gravy,” which was actually thin white sauce with cut up sausage links. The green chili omelet was lukewarm with cold hashbrowns. The green chili tasted canned (seemingly not the “seared” chilis described) and stuffed with too much cream cheese.
The food and atmosphere was amazing!
