My fiancé and I had our New Year's Eve dinner at Gilardi's, and it was absolutely incredible. This was our first time having dinner here and it was great. The only reason I gave this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because I saw our waitress cracking pepper or sprinkling Parmesan for every other table but we were not offered that for either of our entrees. Our waitress was very nice, but I wonder if she didn't expect us to care because we aren't 50 or older? I'm not sure what it was. Either way the food was delicious, the atm... read more

The food was high quality and the service was wonderful! I loved having a meal in the historic home That I posted a picture of last night. We had about 15 in our party so it was just a little crowded and we had to ask them to crank up the air conditioner! They immediately took care of that. So all was good! If it wasn't for being a bit crowded while we dined I would give it a 10! I scored it 9 out of 10! Still very enjoyable!! I highly recommend if you love Italian and are in Springfield, MO!
