I recently moved to WA from PA, with a novice at best knowledge of fly fishing. Dave and Blake were both extremely generous with their time, knowledge, and commitment to making sure I had all of my questions answered and then some. I can not recall a business that I have been to where the customer service was remotely close to that demonstrated at Gig Harbor fly shop. If I could give my experience a 6/5 star review I would. I promise you , you will absolutely never regret a visit to their shop.
Bought three Hobie Tandem islands and had them shipped to Alaska. Missing parts and a lot of broken parts. Wouldn’t answer calls or text after purchase. Stay away from if you are a true Hobie fan.

Dom, that’s not true. You purchased a used kayak, we gave you a screaming deal, and your girlfriend came and inspected all the items. After the sale you contacted us about a couple missing parts and we shipped those. We haven’t heard anything since. Took eight reels in to the boys at GHFS for new lines and backing. Blake set me up, and in talking we discovered we know some folks in common. Treated me to a fair deal, great service, and helped get my Lampson Lightspeed back to the factory for repairs...excellent follow up on that, too. Get to know Blake and Burr...you'll like them immediately. Lots of great materials for the tyer, and lots of upscale merch if you're still going thru the "gotta get the newest gadget" phase.
Terrible Customer service. Ordered a hat waited a week and a half still not received it. called and waited on line for 6 mins for rep to tell me that they were tryin to locate my hat in their inventory but couldnt, that it wasnt availble. no email or call to notify me. BAD business.
