Very unimpressed with the service and experience. Stayed here with my service dog. They put us in a room right in front of the elevator so she was alerting all night. The staff was unhelpful and unaccommodating. The room was small and dated, the shower didn’t drain and was backing up, and on top of that they charged hidden fees. Wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quality experience, especially at this price point

I was here for a wedding last month. The wedding was great. The food was wonderful and the event space/ceremony grounds were beautiful. But.. My hotel room was a joke. A double size mattress is what they think is appropriate to comfortably accommodate 2 grown adults. The room was so small that the bathroom door touched the mattress every time we opened it. Visited Saratoga for the first time and happy we spent it at the Gideon Putnam. Mackenzie and David at the front desk were exceptional in fulfilling all of our needs. Mike and Ron were great running the hotel shuttle service. All of the staff was very personable and attention. Would definitely recommend staying at the Gideon Putnam.

Very nice location right in the park. Building is historic and fancy looking but the rooms are really nothing special. The ceiling in our bathroom looks like it had extensive water damage. Rest of the room was fairly small, clean but nothing special. Got a room with travel points so idk what it normally costs but I doubt it’s worth it.
