This is a beautiful Hotel from the 1930's with all of the charms of the time and amentites of today! Staff - amazing Food - Delicious Golf, Spa, Hiking, Transportation to and from the hotel to town is fast, reliable and delightfully driven by Ron, Pete and Tom - all true gentlemen
Disappointed Room was small not cleaned I wrote on the dust We attended a concert it was perfect for that reason alone
Great location for visiting SPAC, building maintenance is a bit behind for the rates they charge. I was surprised when we went to the restaurant and was told tables are for dinner only at 4 pm ( 1 out of 50+ tables were empty) and that we had to obtain our own beverages from the bar and sit on the 2 couches. Seems like a missed opportunity with great scenery that they would discourage people from coming in for a few drinks, while 4 servers were hanging by the hostess station.
My mom, her best friend, and I stayed here for the weekend in a 2 queen bedroom so we could have a girls weekend and go to the races. The hotel on the outside is gorgeous and truly has a lot of potential but we were sorely disappointed after checking in. The hallways smelled musty and moldy, the room itself could not stay cool even with the AC on and continued to become more and more humid.
