About this business

Established in 1995 as the Southeastern Cancer Center, the name was changed in 2002 to honor Alice and Monroe Carr Gibson, two Robeson County citizens dedicated to the cancer patients of this region. Prior to its inception, cancer services in Robeson County were provided by late Dr. David Richardson and the caring staff of Lumberton Medical Clinic in conjunction with Duke Medicine. my daddy was diagnosed back in January 2019 with lymphoma it is in remission, he was treated very well. I was diagnosed the week before Thanksgiving with lung cancer that has jumped to my brain, right arm , spine and right shoulder blade. I have taken 7 treatments have 3 left on my brain and 4 left on my lung. I make it a point to tell the team that works with me I appreciate them every day before I leave... thank you Gibson cancer center!

I have had nothing but a great experience at all of my visits at the Gibson Cancer Center. All the nurses in the Chemotherapy Department work together just like the pieces in a clock. I’ve never been in another office anywhere where employees act like they they love their jobs and love working together. From the front staff all the way to the administration department there. And Dr Ahmed and her nurse Sherry are the best.
