Nice people and service! It has a pool my daughters enjoyed very much. Rooms are somehow old, the bathroom extra clean and full of amenities. I personally like arrowhead more, but it was a good experience, you can take your food and make a bbq

The grounds are very nice. We were there for summer - A coi pond, a beautiful swing and ping pong table were outside to enjoy. Easy to get to town.

My husband and I have gone to this lodge at least 3 times within the past few years. It is very CHARMING, quiet, and relaxing. There are little extra touches that Susa has added in the decor, layout, and feel of the lodge. We love the indoor pool/spa with the moon roof and windowed walls. The barbeque with a nearby fireplace outside is fun to just have a quiet meal in the open air. We love the ping pong table and the beautiful creek that runs through the place. We highly recommend getting the fresh bbq at Jensen's Market on ... read more

Caring couple run the place, nice indoor pool with jacuzzi, and ping pong under the crabapple (?) tree made it even more enjoyable. Quiet, right off the main road. Chatting with other guests was nice too.

The town itself is beautiful, a great place to relax, hike, close to Snow Valley ski resort and it has some very nice views. The room was clean and homy, we had a big Jacuzzi in the bedroom, next to a fireplace and a flatscreen TV. It was amazing. The tub was plenty big for two people with extra space, and was set up very pretty with towels and soap baths. The bed was king size and there was this large lazy boy arm chair. The fireplace is automatic turn on/off at the push of a button. The bathroom was also set-up very beauti... read more

This is the only place in town. The photos on the Running Springs website do not do this property justice. We stayed in one of the Lodge type rooms without a spa. It was very comfortable and very clean. The outdoor landscaping is top notch. It has a stream, pond with live fish and a BBQ / Fireplace area. The indoor pool is very good. The exterior doesn't look like a pool building but fits in with the rest of the buildings on the site. We would stay there again.

Stayed here the other night with my now fiance (she proposed during our stay here on one of the local hiking trails)! We were driving up to Big Bear and the snowstorm was so terrible, we had to pull over and stay here for the night. It was the best decision we made! The man at the front desk was very friendly and got us exactly what we needed for an awesome price. We stayed in cabin 101 and it was so cute, charming, and very warm while we waited out the storm. The pool and spa was also a nice touch! I would definitely stay h... read more

My wife and I planned to go to Big Bear this past weekend. Once I started looking for a place to stay I found Giant Oaks Lodge. Although some reviews were not very flattering, I decided to book it anyways. I had a gut feeling about this place. Once we arrived we were happy with what we saw. So we proceded to check in, it was quick and easy, the older gentleman that checked us in was nice and cordial. Once we got to our room, 102, we walked in and saw that it looked cozy. The room consisted of 2 beds, small bathroom, a tv in ... read more

This place is way better than you'd think by the reviews. The rooms, the pool, and the stream. The location, the price, and the service... It's awesome.
