Took a bear in had a bunch of bratwurst and roast done up and it came out amazing. Andy was super helpful in deciding what to make since this was my first time shooting a bear, and the turn around time was very quick.
Get your Meat is a very quality establishment. I took my first elk there this year and was very pleased with the service and packaging. The whole team does a fantastic job. I got the Jalapeno Cheese Brats, and wont do them again (not for me) but cannot wait to try the pepperoni sticks and breakfast sausage next time. Would definitely suggest to anyone considering them!
I’ve never had wild game to process. I got a permit for a deer that had been hit by a car. In short notice they took in 3 salvageable quarters and 7 pounds of cut meat to grind for me to take home and make sausage. The guidance of how to process the rest was super helpful and they even gave me some treats for my dog. Very customer service friendly & I highly recommend.
I harvested a bull out of state and had a hot drive back to Idaho with the meat on ice. I called Andy and he got my meat in his cooler right away and had it processed within a week. The burger is neatly packaged, lean, and the breakfast sausage is delicious. As one who generally processes his own game because I’m so particular, thanks to the job Andy and his team do with a more than reasonable price, I don’t know that I’ll ever process my own again.
I’ve known Andy through 3D archery competitions, have always bought pepperoni sticks from him that are absolutely delicious and never lasts long! I haven’t taken any game to these guys yet as I have someone doing it for me for free, but when my free butchering runs out these guys are the first people I will bring my game to. I have a huge group of friends who bring their game here and not a single one of these friends have ever had a complaint. Andy and his wife are great people.
