My experience with GYIS has been terrific! I am a distance runner both on roads and trails and was tired of cross-training in the gym. A friend brought be to a free class with GYIS and I was instantly hooked. Getting to workout outside with amazing trainers and people makes me want to get up and go to every class. I'm seeing great results too. I am stronger, my running is better and I've even lost a few inches. I can't say enough wonderful things about GYIS!
Love that Get You In Shape is family owned. Love that it is close to my house and that they have multiple options for work out times throughout the day. For me 5:30am is optimal. The trainers are wonderfully supportive. They take the time to know your name, know about you, and encourage your success.
I was trying to do it on my own all this time and failing miserably. I joined GYIS in September and can't believe how much I enjoy and look forward to the boot camp even at 5:30 am in this beautiful 30 degree weather.. My husband can't believe I have actually stuck to a program this time unlike in the past when I would start things with great gusto and then lose interest. It's never the same workout twice, but you can always expect consistency and dedication from the trainers to get the most out of you. Even when you don't feel like working out, getting to class and seeing everyone gets you motivated and you're always glad you made it when you're finished.
I can't remember a time in my life when I was happy with my size or appearance. I'd done everything - diet, personal training, yoga, group sessions...and nothing ever stuck. In Dec. 2015 I signed up with GYIS, a 3-week trial to see how I liked it. I lost five pounds in three weeks. The best workout program I have been involved in throughout the years! Must be good folks are members year after year! I'm an outdoors person so I am happy when we are done with our evening workout to stretch after looking at the stars!
Awesome group of leaders and people. We have been doing this for 6 months and don't plan on stopping, unlike all other forms of exercise we have quit after 6 weeks. We love this group.
