My parents had a policy with Germania for about 6 years, and when my mom went into a nursing home and my dad passed away, I ask Germania for a policy for a vacate house. They said that I could have a policy for a weekend home, since my brother would be over to mow the lawn. When I had to turn in a claim 2 years later, I was told that I did not say it was vacate, and therefore the home wasn't covered in anyway. I had been paying over $1,000.00 a year for nothing.
