My resent visit to the ER was not only a waist of time but the doctor there put me in great pain by insisting that I take an over the counter drug that I know I can't take cause it causes problems with other body functions. I am very disappointed in the quality of service at this hospital, I am still having problems hearing because of an ear infection that they refuse to treat properly. I was very well taken care of. I spent 3 days on the 3rd floor with a small bowel obstruction, I was pretty sick. Every nurse went the extra step to tend to my needs. Big thank you to one of my nurses Sherry, you're the best! Pharmacy has some learning to do in my opinion. When a doctor okays and orders a medication it should be sent. My medication were delayed by hours.
My husband was in saterday night. He had fast and excellent care. If he has to go to the E.R. he always wants to go there
I wouldn't recommend doing your prental care here! My "doctor" misdiagnosed my twins which was extremely easy to spot. Ontop of being in serious pain for weeks, i kept calling to be seen which took forever and she told me i was fine😡that my babies had alot of fluid (my stomach bloated up three sizes in two weeks)which was infact not true! One baby had little to none and he was dying while the other baby had to much!! i was going into full labor! The OB/GYN department, doctors and nurses are great!! We chose a 45 minute drive just to be able to deliver here. Super supportive of natural birth. Great postpartum care!
Having not used Gerber in the past, we weren't sure what to expect. Well we were nothing but impressed. Dr Kuiper, the anesthesiologist, nurses, and staff were just amazing. They were kind, upbeat, and funny even during a stressful time. It really helped to feel more at ease. They have been improving so much throughout the years, and yesterday, all of the medical staff and Dr was right on top of my girlfriend's sickness, and was able to pin down the problem before we left, actually I felt quite comfortable, and i even was offered a nice hot cup of coffee from the hospitality lady, she was so nice and thoughtful.
I was at the emergency room and was taken in right away. I received excellent care. Especially by Nurse Penny.
