Excellent service. Best clam chowder ever! Wonderful view and food but yet casual in attire. Worth waiting for definitely.
We have dined at Georgies numerous times and have never been disappointed. They have a very friendly and courteous staff.

Hello, my wife and I decided to try Georgie's last night, we had heard from a couple friends of ours that it was good. My wife ordered prime rib and I ordered flamed grilled Halibut. Service was prompt. When the server brought our plates to the table the smell of fish was overwhelming. My wife and I immediately looked at each other and she said did you smell that? ( yes I did ! ) so I let it sit there and ate my baked potato then I must have gotten used to the smell and decided to try it. I ate two bites, It was mushy and st... read more
The view was nice while waiting for our food. I was not happy because there were no baked or mashed potatoes to go with my fish. I had to take rice and it was dry and if I wanted something over the rice they wanted to charge me more money. My husband liked his hamburger he said it was pretty good but probably not any any better than any other hamburgers he had eaten in any other restaurants of this type. Prices were very high for the amount of food and the quality of food.
Best fish n chips, the VERY BEST CLAM CHOWDER, and exceptionally good service. We come back from Central Oregon multiple times a year.
I loved our whole experience here. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We came on Mother's Day without reservations and were told a 30 minute wait but it was definitely not 30 minutes before we got a wonderful seat by the window, and wow what a view. Service was quick, food was delicious, they are so kid friendly! We will definitely be back each time we visit Newport.
