Best Vet Ever I love Dr. Morgan. I have no idea what my dogs lives would be without him, he's so great. He takes a lot of care with the animals and you can tell from the time he calls you back to the exam room all through the visit. I've referred other people to him and they've also said that you can just tell how caring and compassionate he is, and also fair. Vets can't instantly know what's wrong with an animal on first exam, sometimes they have to test for things but his intuition is always on target. We had a lot of bad ... read more

Beware Pet Owners Do not take your pet to Dr. Lee Morgan of Georgetown Veterinary Hospital. He is not competent, and if you care about your pet, you will not send him/her to be treated by him simply because he does not know what he is doing.

the best in the city, no doubt about it over the years, i have taken my dog to various vets in Washington DC, switching either because their fees shot up or they made major diagnostic mistakes that cost me nearly $2,000. a friend whose dogs are seemingly always happy and healthy recommended Dr. Morgan and i am so grateful that she did. Dr. Morgan was very kind, took his time, listened to my lengthy description of all my dog's idiosynchroses and diagnosed my dog's problem immediately and accurately. when my dog had surgery, D... read more

Look No Further Dr. Morgan and his staff are just the kind of people you can truly trust your animal with. I was blown away by the genuine affection given to my pet and the follow up on their part.

Excellent Experience When it came time for me to have my dog's vaccinations done, I spent time doing research to choose a new vet. Previously, I had a bad experience with another DC animal hospital who has newbie vets, and you can't schedule one particular vet, like an HMO. Based on reviews, as well as the recommendation of a friend, I decided on Dr, Morgan at Georgetown. I also wanted an experienced vet with diagnostic expertise. The young woman at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. I got a good vibe from all ... read more

PetOwner I had a great experience with both Dr. Morgan (and his very helpful wife/book keeper mentioned in other reviews) and Dr. Bayles prior to the purchase of the clinic. There were some growing pains when he first took over, but Bayles was a tough act to follow. Morgan is a talented and experienced vet who has grown into his own as a leader in the area. I received compassionate and professional care that proved to be dead-on when he willingly referred me to specialist for issues with my aging dog. I have no hesitations r... read more

Very disappointing We've never seen Dr. Morgan, but recently saw Dr. Lipton for the first time and were very displeased. She was extremely rude and condescending. She did not have any clue how to treat our dogs condition, but instead spouted off ridiculous suggestions that were completely contradictory to those given to us by veterinary medical articles and other specialists. She spent a good deal of the time fumbling around the office looking for supplies, and when she prescribed a medicine for our dog she did not even know... read more

The best Vet.... Several times my cat Suzi needed extra attention that was time consuming. On every occasion I was given a timely appointment and the extra care that she needed was given immediately. One Saturday when I thought that GVH was closed (they were open that day) I took her to a hospital linked to a retail chain. What a mistake, the appointment was for 2pm, the tech didn't see Suzi until 3:15pm and the Vet (on his 3rd day, he told me) didn't enter the room until 4pm. Also, the quote for JUST xrays and office visit ... read more

Compassionate care Dr. Morgan had to put to sleep our dear cat who was at the end of her long life. He not only did the task with the greatest kindness and compassion -- to us and to her -- he recognized that we faced a hole in our lives. His staff directed us to a woman who finds homes for feral cats and we now have two formerly feral, now greatly loved kitties. We recommend him highly.
