On January 13th, 2026, I received excellent medical care from Dr. Alexander Kiefer in the form of epidural injections for my severe lumbar stenosis. Although it is too early to tell whether the treatment will be effective long term, early indications are that the injections temporarily (a) reduced my lower back pain, (b) alleviated my left foot swelling and, (c) enables me to sit down and stand up with less pain. big fan, guy actually listens to you which is rare in this town.
incredibly nice guy. Has been treating my wife for 4 years for back spasms and recurring pain. Amazingly responsive and honest. tells you what he knows and doesn’t know—and has steered her to other specialists, as the cause for her recurring and debilitating pain is still unclear. Only MD know who calls back (often) at 8 PM. AAA+ in our book.
Dr. Kiefer is the absolute best! Don't hesitate or look anywhere else. He actually cares about his patients and takes the time to diagnose and treat you. He's not like everyone else that shoves you out the door after a minute conversation. Seriously, take my word for it. I have been his patient for a couple years.
