Our kids grew up on having George's for breakfast. Now they're geniuses.
Great brunch food. Came out fast. Had to dock a star for the coffee refill service or lack thereof. Think the coffee guy was on break.
Seated promptly, but food took 30 minutes to arrive and I Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak that came out with no meat. Really- no meat in my half if the Philly. Took them another 20 minutes to make another one and it was fair by Philly standards. I would recommend good no someplace else.

Hi pat, it's disappointing to see this review. We just responded to your friend Cheryl's review on yelp. Like Cheryl you fail to mention that you both split one sandwich. All our philly cheese steaks have over 1/2 pound of meat. Cheryl claim is that the sandwich took 25 min to come, your claim is that it took 30 min. Either way all food here at georges is made from scratch and not pre made. We did try to make your experience better by giving your party another sandwich that was not charged for. Outstanding restaurant! A "must visit" to experience fantastic food and the kindest New Yorkers who happen to be the owner and his staff! Will definitely return! Highly recommend George's New York!
