Since we opened in 1950, our neighborhood has been full of hustle and bustle (the New York Stock Exchange is two blocks over, after all). And while we love the energy, we've made it our mission to provide our guests with a space they can relax in. When you're here, you'll find homestyle cooking in huge portions. Came to George’s over the summer for Phish Baker’s Dozen and the experience was great. The PB&J French Toast was everything!!! Came back just this past weekend during Phish NYC & had them again, and they were just as good as the first time. Only negative was the upstairs seating being super tight & a little uncomfortable. Other than that, it was great.

We were on vacation from Florida and this restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel . We arrived & were seated quickly . We ordered off of the Mexican choices. It was delicious ! The servers were very attentive. Loved it !!

Stopped here for breakfast on 11/02/2017. We were greeted and a seated immediately. The service was fast and the food was amazing. The portions were big and the price was reasonable for the area. I would definitely recommend!
