Horrible service in every aspect. From the front desk to the surgeon I am disgusted at the lack of professionalism on every level
Broke my ankle. My PCP at GW is phenomenal and they referred me here. Ok, fine. The break was 2 weeks ago. GW Ortho only had time to see me yesterday. Ok, fine, it’s not a “bad” break. Appt was at 3:45. 1. Received a call 11:15 AM. “We have some cancellations, can you come earlier?” No, I have too many work meetings, I’m sorry. 2. The orthopaedic doctors explained my diagnosis well and showed concern over my condition
I had a follow up appt I scheduled at GW Faculty Orthopedic 2300 block of M Street NW. I was treated like someone seeking pain meds. The Resident PA was rude. She would ask a question then interrupt. It was all bad and snowballed from there. One thing that was evident is no one wanted me to speak with a Patient Advocate. I reviewed the patients rights and found out I should have been informed that I could have asked for a second opinion.
