Dr Maughan is an excellent physician —a great diagnostician,and a serious , empathetic person. ( can be light-hearted too ! ) His nurse Jackie is also the best in every way .
Dr. Maughan does a great job of listening to your concerns and communicating with you very clearly. He shows a genuine care and concern for your well-being and wants to work as your partner in reaching your health goals. Clearly has a ton of experience, too. He just plain provides great health care.
Dr. Maughan has been my primary care physician for 27 years. He always takes time to listen, gives diagnosis, advice, and medication if necessary. Fairly easy to schedule an appointment and thorough exams given. I have seen everyone in the facility for care and have had nothing but good experience and proper care.
Dr. Maughan always takes the time to answer my questions. He values my opinons and involves me directly in all decisions about my care.
Dr Maughan is an excellent doctor with a wonderful staff. He always take the time to listen to my concerns and always give me great advice on ways to stay healthy. I have would continue to tell and refer people to Dr Maughan, also Nurse Jackie is very friendly and always make me feel like family. Richmond Family Practice is blessed to have a Physician and Nurse like Dr Maughan and Nurse Jackie.
In this day and age of doctors not taking the time to listen Dr. Maughan is the exception. His professionalism, caring and medical expertise is spot on. He has been my primary care physician for many years and I trust my health care to him.
I have known Dr Maughan for years and he has been my doctor for the last 4 years. He treats me the way doctors used to be able to treat their patients-like he has all the time in the world and is not rushing to get to the next patient. He assessed my health and lab results and gave me helpful advice for how to take care of my diabetes properly and has been instrumental in my changing my diet, exercising and losing 20 pounds slowly over the last four years. My cholesterol is normal now!
I am and have been very happy with the care given my by Dr. Maughan for many years now. I feel I am in good hands with a physician who not only knows what he's doing, but truly cares about his patients.
Dr Maughan is my favorite and has been for years. He’s great to work with and has a very caring attitude. Many of my friends go to him also, and we all agree!
