I have got a knee replacement. Happy after two years.
Dr. Markovich turned out to be a godsend. I waited about 20 minutes to see him, the staff was pleasant, and he was professional and informative, and took his time with me. I felt like I was in good hands and I now have great range of motion and I'm back to golf and tennis. Best and easiest decision I've ever made. Highly recommend him. His PA Pat is a sweetheart.
My wife, Emilia Andrews, visited Doctor Markovich of the Institute for Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Ft Myers Florida on November11, 2020. . The purpose of the visit was a follow up to determine a course of action for recovery from an accident she sustained a few weeks earlier where she had fractured her tailbone, her pelvis, and her wrist. Constantly overbooking so appointments get delayed and cancelled all of the time. Seems like Dr. Markovich is NEVER in office. Every time I book an appointment with him I end up seeing someone else (5-10 times!!). The only time I actually saw Dr. Markovich was when I was a new patient. He has 0 urgency, does not care for partients’ concerns, and works according to his own schedule in complete disregard of his patients plans and schedules.
Excellent... they took us in did Xrays put us in a room for Dr. George Markovich waiting about 10 minutes he came in Talked to us explained how bad my husband knees where gave him a shot in both knees. Scheduled appointments. The staff were excellent from Xray to nurses and scheduling staff very much on the ball. Very busy office but everyone of the staff where excellent.
I had a total right knee revision in late November. My original knee was done in 2003. After doing extensive research on orthopedic surgeons in theFort Myers area and after 2 opinions, Dr. Markovich did my replacement, and everything has gone very well. I was concerned that he had some negative reviews because of not answering questions and rushing. Anyone who says he answers questions or explains things has got to be a relative or friend. He absolutely does not answer questions Or have any compassion or kindness. He also has removed my name from every review I have given so the reviews are manipulated. I saw him 6 times and he was never nice to me. I had done nothing to deserve his attitude. I had major knee surgery and the only info I ever found out about it was from my ortho back home who was more than willing to explain what he could
The entire staff is great, Dr. Markovich is wonderful, always answers questions and is very laid back. Pat the PA is phenomenal, the two make an excellent pair! Digital pads for sign-in rock, soooo much better than paper and it speeds the process once you have completed it the first time. I've had minimum wait times and long wait times, it is what it is. Some patients take longer than expected and if I have to wait i know it's due to Dr. Markovich or Pat spending extra time with patients. A+++++
So happy to have found Dr Markovich. I have had knee pain for so long I didn't think I would ever be pain free again. I had a total knee replacement and feel truly amazing. I should have done it years before. He was thoughtful, explained everything and was great! His" PA" Pat is amazing too! Follow what he says, do your PT and exercises, It makes a difference. It has been one year now and I can bend with my knees and touch the floor. Yeah! Thank You!
