My family had a horrible experience with Dr. Alexandrakis. My brother is special needs and because of covid, his care giver was not allowed in with him. This is like sending in an 8 year old without an accompanying adult. After 3 months of visits by himself to assess cataract surgery, it was FINALLY set for August. One day prior, after pre-op etc., my brother's caregiver was called and told there would be no surgery. Terrible service and questionable work
After a horrible experience with another eye doc. Dr. Alexandrakis was very thorough, insured me I did not have cancer behind my eyeball. Showed me huge X-Ray screens and explained what a healthy eye looks like. Also quite pleased with his office staff. I've been seeing Dr. Alexandrakis for a few years.
Absolutely the worst DR I have ever dealt with! The front office girl lied to my face and told my I didn't have a co-pay when I called to check. She didn't want to even do her job and look for me. Nope, she just lied to me. There i am showing up for my appointment and she says i have a co-pay. I said the only reason I made this appointment before my payday is because she SPECIFICALLY said I didn't have a co-pay. They were so incredibly rude, they laughed at me and made a joke of me in front of
This weekend I ended up in urgent care for eye issues and was given an antibiotic salve on Sunday morning....this afternoon it got worse so I called Dr. Alexandrakis office explaining to staff what was going on and if I would be able to see him tomorrow....was told that they would inform the Dr and get back to me. When I received the call later I was told that I could not get in to see him until sometime in June. I asked even if it is an emergency and was told there was no openings until June.
