Dr Aguiar is extremely knowledgeable and always takes time to listen to my concerns. He is very compassionate to my discomfort and takes the time to explain all my options. He did a great Total Knee Replacement (TKR) using robotic assistance but only after PT and other options did not work. He is now trying non operative options on my heel tendons and calcification rather than going straight to surgery with a Heel and Ankle Dr. He is never in a rush for surgery. I find he is usually very prompt.
I’ve taken both daughters to Dr. Aguiar and he has operated on one of their knees. I always feel like we’re getting the best possible opinion and treatment.
He explains everything cleary and answers all of my questions. He has a great sense of humor! Cortisone is a breeze! His staff is also always fun and helpful! I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Aguilar was extremely helpful to me. He quickly and efficiently diagnose my problem and offered me a conservative surgery-free treatment plan. I would feel very confident in referring other patients to him.

Dr. Aguiar was very conservative in the treatment of my knee: physical therapy etc. until it became evident that arthroscopy was needed. He took time to explain the surgery in detail and the results of the surgery were quite good. I was very impressed by the competence and professionalism of Dr. Aguiar and his staff.
Entire process was easy, pleasant and painless. The exception rather than the current norm.
Knee replacement surgery went very well. A friend’s recommendation of Dr. Aguiar proved to be well founded. I actually look forward to having the other knee replaced next spring.
