I feel certain that if you are in need of back surgery, Dr. Frey would be a good choice. My surgery was amazing and to wake up with no pain, after 6 months of pain, I was so impressed and have told countless people about my experience. I have talked with people who had just had back surgery and they were in so much pain, after 2 weeks, it was hard to believe how fortunate i was. I had a pretty complicated, failed previous back surgery that needed some clever solutions. Dr. Frey and his entire staff were incredible from start to finish. Especially good at actually listening and taking the time to seriously consider my situation. Dr. Frey and his PA Tom are also unusually good communicators, which was invaluable to me. I'm still in recovery but I couldn't have more confidence in my surgeon and his team. Honestly, I feel lucky to have these guys in my corner.

I first met with Dr Frey's medical assistant, Thomas Sanders, who explained in detail what might benefit me with my scoliosis. Several options were given, but with a serious curvature that developed over 9 years, I did not want to try other treatments, as they would not give me permanent relief. I have gone through several surgeries where I had been fearful of the outcome. I never had any fear of the competence of George Frey. I knew after talking with him, I had no reason to be fearful - George Frey imparts a great sense of security and professionalism, and I knew my surgery would be entirely successful. He has a tremendous compassion for the patient, the person, who is in his care. Given a choice, he would be my first choice, and will be my first recommendation.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. George Frey. He is a consummate professional & truly cares about his patients. This also extends to his staff. He spent a solid hour+ with me on my first consult & his patient support has extended well beyond my recovery. Exceptional surgeon. Compassionate, really listened to me and my back problems. Explained in detail what was needed to help me live a better life. As a retiree my remaining time I wanted to be pain free (or as close as I can get) so I can do the activities I want. Yes there is pain and discomfort associated with a surgery but getting better each day. Well worth it all. Great doctor, very skilled, very knowledgeable. His PA's are excellent also. Thanks Tom and Stephanie for everything.
