I had the pleasure of having Aimee Davis as my doula for my first birth. Aimee was absolutely wonderful. She took time to call me many times before she even came to my house to ensure I felt good about things and improve communication leading up to her arrival. She was such a comforting presence to have in my home for almost 2 days of labor. She is a wealth of knowledge and I am so grateful for her support. I highly recommend Aimee and Gentle Childbirth Services.
Jen was incredible! She was always there to answer questions or encourage me during pregnancy. She and Jesus helped me achieve an unmedicated birth. Throughout labor, Jen said what I needed to hear (ie. “breathe out the contraction”) and kept me focused. She used essential oils and counter pressure to make me more comfortable, and she was great at giving my husband instructions on how to apply pressure or help me so that we had a lot of sweet time together. We used Bobbie as our Doula & I could not recommend her more!! We had a sudden/early start to our labor that was very scary. Bobbie was just this pillar of calm, strength, positivity and wisdom. Throughout the labor Bobbie knew all the right ways to encourage and support me. I felt so comfortable with her and she poured so much peace into me throughout the labor. Can't recommend my doula Amanda Grantham and Gentle Childbirth Services ENOUGH. I've always been afraid of childbirth but Amanda helped me so much and helped make my labor such a pleasant experience even when things went different than I hoped
I could not recommend Bobbie enough! Her presence was so incredibly calming and centering during my home birth. She knew exactly what to do and say to not only allow me to focus and be at peace during my birth process, but to help my husband as well. He jokes that he literally could not have done it without her! She was also so amazing in those first few hours post partum…she got us breakfast, cleaned up our home, and was just so supportive.
