Gentex themselves are probably a good company to work for and provide big companies products, but their customer support team needs a revamp or policies and procedures need to change, because there is no way in hell a company wouldn't have a record of wiring diagrams for each specific mirror model, and if that is the case and they do not then Gentex probably needs to be bought by somebody who has better oversight

Gentex is the parent company of Homelink. Unless you have a new car, the Homelink garage door opener will not work unless you purchase a repeater. I purchased a repeater with a remote 7 years ago. The remote is a one time use item for set up. Fast forward to 2018. I purchase another vehicle which is older than the website shows for that make and model. I follow the instructions and the setup for the vehicle fails. I call Homelink. The rep says that I need the one time use remote for the repeater in order to set up the garage... read more
