I brought my Genesis in for service and a catty gay guy at the front tells me that in the next 3 days they will no longer service Genesis. I say ok, well luckily I had my appointment before that happened. Then the mechanic Hector asks me what would I like done with the vehicle. I attempted to purchase a top of the line Genesis from this dealership and was met with profound incompetence. Some of the sales representatives appear to have zero understanding of their own Genesis vehicles. It’s also not a real Genesis showroom. But what was even more shocking was the sheer rudeness of the sales manager, who couldn't even be bothered to engage in a basic sales conversation. I found the Genesis GV70 that I wanted 2 1/2 hours from my home at Genesis of Jersey City. Both Andy and Aaron were extremely helpful reserving the car, organizing my visit, negotiating my purchase and teaching me the basics of the car's functionality. Even though their location is too far to provide ongoing service, I will absolutely recommend their dealership to people I know in NYC and NJ. Well done guys!
Horrendous experience. Tried to purchase a car here. They would not give an interest rate, they would not give an out the door price, and would not give a firm payment until we drove six hours. Did a credit application with them and was told "9-10% but we can call around to different banks when you get here." We have perfect credit and the special rate is listed at 3.49% on their website.
