One year ago today my daughter was rushed by ambulance to Genesis for her first seizure. The doctor looked me straight in the face and told me she was faking it. I wasn't given follow up information or any assistance. Today, she had another and we refused to transport to Genesis and asked to be sent to Trinity. Far better experience, and they are actually bringing in a specialist.
My niece was in the ER from 11 am until 815 pm never seen a dr. She is a cancer patient who was sent there to get a transfusion-and platelets. Had a fever got antibiotics no plan. That is neglect.
Staff were dismissive, unprofessional, and even yelled at me during a medical episode. Instead of receiving proper care, I was treated as if I wasn’t being serious. Completely unsafe and negligent environment.
