Long story short, no one arranged to pick up my Buick trade-in as part of my new lease agreement made with them back in December 2017. The dealership did not pick the car up from the mechanic shop where it had broken down originally and which is what caused me to have lease the new one. On March 13,2022 we traded in our 2019 sorento for a 2022 sorento, plug in hybrid. Ray was our sales man and he was very patient with us, as we were not sure if we wanted to go plug in hybrid or not. Ray explained everything to us with patience. A week later we had a problem with the return lease we called Ray and he took care of it right away. Caveat emptor - Lease Agreements! In February 2017 I turned in my 2015 Kia Optima for a new 2016 Optima. The salesman, Scott Yeager, and the Finance Department at Generation Kia in Bohemia explicitly agreed that any and all remaining lease payments due on my 2015 lease would be paid in full. To date, Since July, I have received threatening letters from Kia Finance and a collection agency that the dealer shorted the lease payments due by one month. Questionable business practice, I used cars.com to have dealers place offers on the Jeep that I was selling. Generation Kia offered the best price, I accepted their online offer and set up an appointment to speak to a sales manager. Upon speaking with one of the managers, they ended up offering a price that was 40% less than the offer that I accepted from their dealership online. We bought a lemon (engine blew up) from them a few WEEKS ago and the process to have them take any responsibility has been excruciating.
Generation Kia has lied, scammed, and robbed me for a full year. I bought a used vw rabbit from them last February. The salesperson who sold me the car dismissed my concerns about the slight transmission issues on the test drive. I fell for the lies and bought the car. Within one week of having the car I had to bring it back to them to be fixed. No rental cars available for me, I missed out on work. They "fixed" the issue. Parking seems to be a bit of an issue and exiting onto the se4vi e road with all those cars parked on the road creates a blind spot.
Everything went well. Eddie was a professional and handled everything.
I can't change my review on Google, but the staff has gotten much better. The staff member who assisted me with my recall and issue that needed to be fixed with my car was very professional, honest and friendly. I only leave 4 stars because the prices are way to high with servicing your car, but again they are being honest, and guaranteeing that you get the right part(s).
