Horrible customer service – I brought a perfectly fine 5 year old computer in to have my data backed up, the hard drive wiped clean and Windows XP reloaded. The computer worked fine when I brought it in, not so when I went to pick it up. The tech backed up my data, wiped my hard drive clean and then discovered he couldn't figure out how to reload XP on the hard drive. Some of the best deals, Excellent knowledge – GIM Computers is my favorite place to buy anything related to computers. They have one of the best selections in Atlanta and are very knowledgeable. This includes unusual cables and such . They don't give a person a lot of gimmicky sales talk or try to intimidate the buyer with technobabble. They prices are excellent too. I have known Jim Cheng, the owner of GIM Computers for nearly 20 years. I have always found him to be fair and give excellent service.

Horrible Customer Service, Tricked me with their return policy! – I have bought many things from GIM in the past. Except for their crappy attitude, I haven't had problems. I bought a bulk WD hard drive that turned out to be too large for my motherboard. The return policy (on the reciept) stated that I could return it within 10 days. However when I tried to return it on the 3 day, for a smaller size (not a refund) I was told that because I had opened the package, it was not returnable.
