RecommendedLove love love general finishes Milk Paints and Stains. Goes on smooth and I love that the paint is self leveling so brush marks are not a problem. It also goes a long way and clean up is easy. For added dimension, try the Pearl Effects. There is no better paint on the market for furniture and cabinets.
I can't say enough good thing about GF products. There isn't one I've tried that I haven't fell in love with! My newest obsession is Lamp Black Milk Paint. The way it glides on and distresses so uniquely makes for such a fun and unpredictable experience!
Love using the gel stains, especially Java and Antique Walnut. My most favorite top coat is High Performance! Use it on all of my pieces!
In our previous house we remodeled 3 bathrooms and a kitchen using General Finishes Milk Paint and High Performance Topcoat. Couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the products and ease of use. I have recommended General Finishes many times based on our experience and would absolutely use them again! Also, the company was very helpful in answering questions I had throughout the process! Top notch!

I have started painting furniture a few months ago and did a lot of research before buying anything. I started with the varnish and I really love it.
I have been repurposing & painting for 2 years & in that time, I have never found a stain that I was crazy about. I watched a tutorial of GF java gel stain & High Top Performance poly...it looked easy, so I gave it a whirl! It was just as EASY to use as the video had shown & the results were stunning showcasing the Beautiful wood grain! I've used it multiple times now & can honestly say that I will never use anything else!Always consistent...Thank You GF for Great products...can't wait to try more of the GF line!
General Finishes products are wonderful! Absolutely love love their gel stains and water based polyurethane! So easy to use, easy to clean up and gorgeous results! Their milk paint is fantastic too! Great coverage and beautiful colors! I also have found their tutorial videos very helpful! Can't recommend them enough!
I paint and stain furniture and I LOVE General Finishes products. I love the milk paint, gel stains, and topcoats. I just started using the chalk paint and I love the Black Pepper color - it covers in just one coat! I'd like to see more vintage-y colors in the chalk paints. Overall a fantastic line of products.
