This Chicago landmark located in River North has been around since 1941 and is considered to be Chicago's oldest steakhouse. Like many places of its ilk, the dark mahogany paneling and white table cloths are de rigeur while the wait-staff wear ties and aprons. Nice people here, good food, good service and it's right next door from where I reside
Best steaks, fabulous fish, incredible Italian in Chicago. Luscious lamb chops!! Their Chicken Ala Joe will make your eyeballs sweat!! But you go to G G's for the steaks & great service. Maybe the lamb chops. And you won't be able to resist the Italian bread, breadsticks & garlic bread, so come hungry. Generous enough portions to take some home for later. Their special-made Spumoni is a can't miss dessert. Been going there for about 45 years! Trust me.

One of the very best Steak places ... I know how a Steak has to be.. Exactly like the G&G Chicago Style.. I had the big T- Bone on Sunday evening and I will return with best customers on next Wednesday... anything to comment .�. ? The Atmosphare is old Chicago style and very clean, I missed Alcapone.. ����
The wait staff was pleasant and attentive without being "clingy", and the place oozes atmosphere, character and a feeling of Chicago history. What can you say about the food? Even the sides we ordered (who raves about broccoli!?), were exceptional. This was a memorable dining experience, and our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
