We visited Chicago this past week and I wanted to revisit this Steak House as I had great memories of it from several years ago. The appetizers were perfection (mussels and grilled calamari). The salads were delicious. We were disappointed in our steaks as we requested medium rare and they were almost well done. � However, the sides were awesome (potato slices and grilled asparagus). The best steakhouse in Chicago, hands down! I've been coming here since I was a kid and every time they seem to amaze me. Huge portions, Five star service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The way the building is layed out to the street, I feel like I'm in the movie The Godfather, having dinner with the other 5 families. The Garbage salad, the bone-in Filet, and the lamb chops are just some of the must haves on the menu.
Just a quick not to say thank you for a wonderful time at the bar on Wednesday night! I also want to thank our "star-tender" for hooking my 160# baby with his special treat. If he wasn't in so much puppy bliss he'd give you a bow of thanks and a massive paw to shake!
