This Chicago landmark located in River North has been around since 1941 and is considered to be Chicago's oldest steakhouse. We visited Chicago this past week and I wanted to revisit this Steak House as I had great memories of it from several years ago. The appetizers were perfection (mussels and grilled calamari). The best steakhouse in Chicago, hands down! I've been coming here since I was a kid and every time they seem to amaze me. Huge portions, Five star service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The way the building is layed out to the street, I feel like I'm in the movie The Godfather, having dinner with the other 5 families. The Garbage salad, the bone-in Filet, and the lamb chops are just some of the must haves on the menu.
Just a quick not to say thank you for a wonderful time at the bar on Wednesday night! I also want to thank our "star-tender" for hooking my 160# baby with his special treat. If he wasn't in so much puppy bliss he'd give you a bow of thanks and a massive paw to shake!
