This Chicago landmark located in River North has been around since 1941 and is considered to be Chicago's oldest steakhouse. Like many places of its ilk, the dark mahogany paneling and white table cloths are de rigeur while the wait-staff wear ties and aprons. In town for a couple of days and visited a Chicago staple. Great atmosphere and great food. Highly recommended.
Always happy. But what happened to my chicken cacciatore I loved that dish. Remove from menu Chop was great. Steak 🥩 great But miss the chicken.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time - When in Chicago a “must have “.. Love the Chicken Parm .. chops etc .. The tv series Blacklist’s Red mentions it a few times.. made me smile :) miss it
