Coming from an area where BBQ and Smoking competitions are a favorite past time out by my part of Illinois and the food is always good. However, I can honestly say that I’m blown away by the quality of food, impeccable sauce and just all around flavor. The meat was moist every bite and the helpings are very generous. Fantastic job. Will be back and with more people!!!
good food, good size portions for a great price
I consider myself a bbq connoisseur. I've visited Gematos on several occasions and the food is delicious, consistent and fresh...even at closing. The food might appear costly but it is worth EVERY penny!

Fantastic Barbecue, the Ribs were PHENOMENAL, and so were those Greek Potatoed, I need to come back more
Disappointing. I got taken in by their "free" second dinner birthday special. Funny, now that I look at the menu, I see a 1/2 slab dinner (what they advertised) is $12.49 so why I was charged $18.something!!? Besides that, the sides were 'okay' but the quality of the ribs were sub-standard. Who cares if you have an entire dinner of leftovers if they aren't very good. I am sorry I wasted my cash at this place. Go to Steamboat BBQ or anywhere else where you'll get mouth watering delicious smoked meats for your money.

Food is awesome and they treate us like Family. Probably because we go to their house and eat often.
