Once again they did not give me the right food. They are about 50-50. Great food but you’re lucky to get what you ask for. They don’t really seem to care when they take your order either lots of attitude

Best BBQ Ribs in the state of Illinois. Every time I go I am greeted by Tom who takes my order and answers my questions. Not once have I been there with him not there. The poor man never takes a day off. Such a nice guy too. With an accent he says....we gona take care of you. I drive 27 miles there and 27 miles back....for the ribs and knowing he will always be waiting to greet me!
So worth the wait!!! The ribs, brisket, chicken and pulled pork literally melt in your mouth. This was my first time here and I can’t wait to go back!!! The Greek potatoes were really tasty too.
LOVE this place!! Their chicken kabobs are soooooo good. I’m a huge fan of Greek food and these kabobs are way up on my list as well as the rice and cucumber sauce served with it. I’m new to the area so this is a new find for me but I’m a fan! Will be back to try their other offerings soon.
Since I have been in Illinois I have been to numerous places looking for what I consider good BBQ, to no avail. We went to "Gemato's Wood Pit BBQ" in Naperville tonight and I was extremely impressed. The ribs were tender and just fell off the bone and the sauce was well seasoned and spiced with a kick. I hate to say it but they put some of my favorite "Southern" BBQ joints to shame, sorry y'all. I will definitely be going back.

Don’t buy a gift certificate at Gematos unless your planning on using it quickly. My kids saved up and bought my dad one, but when then went to use it four months later they refused to honor it, and said it was too old. What the fug!?!!
We had Gemato's for Fathers Day and all the dad's fully approved. Food was ready on time with good service at a great price.
