RecommendedWe live in Elko and have limited options for boarding back home, so when we drove to Seattle we chose to leave our dog in Boise. Gem Crest Kennels was a great choice!
Our setters are 13 & 16. Gem Crest has worked with us to adjust their accommodations as their needs have changed over the years. We highly recommend entrusting your pets to their care.
We have three German Shepherds, that we never have to worry about when we use Gem crest! They are always friendly and helpful with our dogs. They take and keep great notes so they always know what to expect. Two of our dogs are very easy to handle while the other one is not. Gem Crest is great! They take great care of our pups and our dogs love going there! It is so nice to have a kennel that we can leave our pets at while we are away and not have to worry about them. Thanks Gem Crest, we wouldn’t take our sweet girls anywhere else!
The staff who work here are so sweet to ALL Of the animals! They treat them as if they were their own. You are able to kennel multiple dogs together. The kennels are very large. The play time is amazing! They have great attention to detail. They get to know each pet on an individual basis I would highly recommend!

We have been taking our two dogs to Gem Crest for a couple months now and are so satisfied with their service we wouldn't dream of taking them anywhere else. Our dog Kora has always been shy around other people and let's just say loves to bark. It has never been a problem for them. They greet her with a smile everytime and make her very comfortable.
