I shop the Bloomfield store quite often. Love the homey atmosphere. Things are always neat and people are friendly especially The cashier Pat, she always has a smile for you!
Have been shopping here for almost 18 years, using hometown store instead of big box stores, but I just can’t understand why there is no training on how to bag purchases! Such a big deal when I ask for paper in plastic, you can’t even get through the rough terrain of the parking lot without the plastic bags breaking. Produce is bagged under can goods, meat and poultry with produce, frozen items with breads and bags weighing about 10 pounds worth of groceries to try and carry out. Love the store! All the branch locations! The service is excellent and the various store personnel I've asked for help have been pleasant and helpful. It's a comfortable shopping experience.
I used to work at geisslers supermarket 2005-2009 , geisslers supermarket is a fantastic grocery store! :) Cindy is a wonderful front end manager! Jeff Wyse is another great manager, there was one year we had a snow storm and Mr. Jeff Wyse just sent the guys out to collect carriages instead of us girls that way we didn't have a hard time pushing carriages in the snow! The rest of the managers are good too :) Geisslers cares about their employees :)
Love my local store in Somers. Nice to have a Mom & Pop type store!
The only place I buy my deli meat! Always very helpful and excellent sales.
