I knew I should have gone to Urgent Care. Only been 3.5 hours, but really? Come on....Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
Since when is telling a patient in extreme pain he can 'lie on the stretcher by the front door' good patient care?!?!?! Extremely disappointed.
Multiple Sclerosis flare up need IV steroids got her at 6:30pm it is now 11:50pm and I am still waiting
Waited here 6 hours last Friday for my father to see a doctor and was sent home. Here AGAIN with him with a low blood count and. Only had to wait 3 hours to get in the back....still waiting to see what they're going to do. Oh and they have my 79 year old dad laying in the hallway. Used to hold this place in high regard.....not anymore
I think it's well worth the wait to go to geisinger ER !! General is so dirty & their flebotommyst cant get a vein to take blood my husband was at general and geisinger for ER and long stays .So when i tell you Geisinger is better I mean it .There isnt a perfect hospital anywhere but if you want clean,quality,companssionate,care you will find it at geisinger ..But you will have a short wait at GeneralER cuz no one wants to go there anymore they have messed my husbands body up,and treatment is terrible lack of communication ,... read more
