RecommendedNurses and doctors were very nice. The care was outstanding. Clean and caring housekeeping who were very nice and efficient.

They have inadequate room in the emergency department. If you have a bed in the hallway, then you should not be paying the full rate for your visit. My wife has been waiting hours for a catscan. We are the only people that are waiting here in the hallway where you constantly have to move for doctors, nurses, etc. who are passing through.
Horrible medical care, left to sit in the waiting room when I had chest pain and am a cardiac patient.. the nurse at check in was more worried about her phone and talking with another nurse instead of listening to my concerns. The nursing supervisor was equally as unconcerned, ended up leaving and going elsewhere finding out I needed to be admitted and had a mild heart attack. Geisinger is only the place to go for a bandaid on a papercut as their so called professionals are the absolute worst
the staff in the e.r. are the best..I was there on Thanksgiving day...the Dr ..the Pa. all the others running about nurses ..aides ..to make sure I was getting the best care ....I even got a hair tie 4 my hair & a wash cloth!..I'm sure u can guess why. .again ty 4 the excellent care..not 2 4get the staff behind the window ..who were also great and treated me with their warm welcoming smiles..thanks you one &all..beth
I used to use General Hospital as my primary hospital. After my visit to the Geisinger ER this morning it’s easy to remember why I switched. Fantastic nurses, doctors, and techs. From the young woman who checked me in, to the one who took my vitals and blood-work, to the x-Ray tech, all the way up to Dr. Dragann. I gotta say that NURSE JOY was theee best. (Give your cats a hug for me) Keep up the good work. You guys rock.
