Long wait times no matter what. Always 1 hour+. Intake paperwork is one page and asked very little about overall health/mental health. Doctor is "my way or the highway" and has no interest in working with you, only that you comply because "I'm the doctor, I know best." One way streets in mental health lead to abuse and questionable practices. Intake was no more than 20 minutes long, yet she is billing for a standard hour. Dr Puri has changed my life, she got me on the correct medication that is actually helping and I have been struggling for years finding a Doctor that can do this.
The waiting time to see this doctor with an appointment was about two hours. I finally decided to cancel my son's, who is autistic, appointment when I was told that there were still three more patients ahead of him... UNACCEPTABLE!!!.. What good is it that the doctor is a good doctor, if you can't even get to see her.... Going back to the previous doctor. The clinic might not be that fancy, but at least they keep their appointments.
She just doesn't seen very caring. She just suggests a new drug.
She does not listen to her patients. She will just push meds that are not right and won't listen to the side effects.
Her phone answering staff are NASTY RUDE and have no compassion for patients. The Dr, she is RUDE and is heartless around small children. My young sons at the time begged for me never to take them there again.
No communication with her office. I've left 5 messages concerning my meds over 2 weeks with no response from her office.
I ran out of medication three consecutive months because it took took days for prescription refill authorization. Poor communication. My phone calls were not returned. She spoke very little during our office visits. Staff was rude and condescending.
