I've seen Dr. Geenens since the pandemic because he offers amazing teledoc services. He consistently shows empathy and asks how my family is doing. I've probably been a difficult patient to deal with because I've been a victim of random acts of violence that have exacerbated my pre-existing mental illnesses, but Dr. G truly shows genuine empathy. I have been seeing Dr. Geenens for several years now. In my 20+ year history, he is the best mental health practitioner I have ever had! He is intelligent, compassionate, listens, and willing to work with me. He sees me as a whole, capable person and not the limitations my diagnosis sometimes impart. To me, the most important part of a psychiatrist is availability. Being a private practice + pay (transparent pricing!) institution, I think Dr. Geenens has more flexibility. I was surprised at how I was able to get a quick appointment, communicate easily, and book everything online. I really feel that if i had an urgent refill or medication check his office would help me. Dr. Geenens saved my life, he is the only doctor who knew what actual medications I needed and will continue to take them and see him until he retires. The best psychiatrist I have ever known, he is more than just a doctor. Great all around person.

I have seen Dr. Geenens for a few years, and I find him to be a wonderful psychiatrist. He is highly competent. The prescriptions he is has filled for me have helped me immensely.

Dr. Geenens has been my psychiatrist for almost 20 years and hopefully for the next 20 as well. I wouldn’t be alive today without Dr. Geenens.
