I got incorrect information from a telephone representative about a delay in a ***** deposit. I thought. ****** at the Viscount location, and a manager named *****, got the correct information. It was *****, and not the two banks involved, that was delaying to transfer. Because of security, Patriot Act? Eho knows. I absolutely hate this bank. I wish I could go back to the day I decided to use this bank. They have "help" in front that is useless. They cannot do anything other than sit there and tell you to use the ATM teller and give you a card. Useless and frustrating. I will be changing banks next week.

With supply of new cars at an all time low, and interest rates on the rise I haven’t been looking forward to purchasing a new car. ***** ***** in the loans department has went above and beyond to help me with financing my car. Even when an out of state car dealership was extremely rude to him over the phone he stayed professional, and continued to support me as the customer. This experience has helped GECU secure me as a customer for life.

Not only are their fees ridiculous, but they WILL NOT notify you on important information like "low balance" or "possible NSF" instead of sending a heads up or possible 24hrs to transfer funds and helping their "valued members" they will charge you for "covering" your charge and then charge you for "spotting" you, again with no notification.
Absolutely terrible experience. This is the third home I've purchased; first and last that will be financed by GECU. My loan officer stopped communicating with me*************** for two weeks, which caused multiple problems. My disclosures included incorrect information despite the fact that I provided the correct information at application and the bank staff at every level pushed me to sign them without corrections. GECU has changed significantly over the years. Speaking to their customer service is terrible and they refuse to admit any fault. Calling GECU is extremely tiring. So horrible experience! I helped a friend to get a car loan in time for COVID and 3 family members died within month. GECU is so inconsiderate at this time of COVID. Threatens us with letters because we are delinquent. Don't allowed us anymore to deposit for we didn't pay the loan. Biggest regrets of my life. I called customer service not to worry. This review is for the Edgemere GECU branch. I have been a member of GECU for years now and have had several loans with them and currently have several deposit accounts. I have never had an issue till now and I believe it was either with ************ at the edgemere branch who I spoke with.
