Don't Rent From Them My family and I rented a home managed by GDR Property Management and going into the process, they were very polite and helpful. I was impressed. When we left, they attempted to charge us for erroneous things. They attempted to charge us for things they did not even do like paint the walls. They did not have any receipts. For example, they attempted to charge us landscaping costs and when I called the company they claimed did the work, the company denied doing the work. Switched from another company after 3 months and GDR had it rented in 3 weeks! I recently had an available house that was managed by another company. This company had my house available for three months until I decided to switch to GDR Property Management. As soon as GDR took over management, they told me my house needed several upgrades. Very happy with them after 3 years of service I have read the bad reviews about this company, and they sound exactly as if they had been written about the property mgr I had BEFORE GDR. We went a very long time with no tenants. As soon as we hired GDR, they told us what we needed to get the property ready to show, which wasn't very much, and after that was done, they had tenants in the house within a couple of weeks. Great job over the past 5 years The crew at GDR property management have done a great job with our property over the past 5 years. They have found good tenants (even one neighborhood, community leader) and the rental income has been comparable to the local market rates. Maintenance has been appropriate and low-cost and completed within a timely fashion.Review posted by a third part on behalf of a GDR client. Amazing what you miss once its gone I rented from GDR and at the time, I wasn't thrilled with their service because they always charged me late fees when I was late on my rent. In addition, they kept some of my deposit when I moved out because the house was not perfect. I ended up renting from another company and when I moved into the house, it was extremely filthy. I reported several maintenance issues to the new company, but they were not quick to send a maintenance person out to address my repairs like GDR. This other com... read more

Refunded entire security deposit I rented a property from GDR for a number of years and had a very good experience. Anytime I needed something taken care of, GDR would take care of me without question. I once had a leak under my dishwasher and GDR sent someone out within the hour. I paid what I agreed to pay in my lease and was never hassled or required to pay additional charges. Great customer service GDR has great customer service. I’ve rented with them for more than 5 years and they have delivered on all of the maintenance requests I’ve put in quickly and efficiently. Good at maintenance I have worked with GDR for more than 5 years and they manage one of my properties. GDR is great at understanding repairs necessary, getting pricing and getting repair and maintenance work completed. The management of tenant lease issues such as departure without forwarding addresses, lack of yard maintenance and subdivision ordinances, etc. could use a bit more help. Great on collecting rent I give them an A+ for collecting the rents from the tenants. This is a great service for us, and it eliminates the sobbing stories from the tenants.
