Melmed is the best kind of doctor. One that listen to your concerns, and gives the best advice and care to you. He is always friendly and make time to check up in you.
My primary care physician and dermatologist referred me to Dr. Melmed for evaluation and to help determine if it is advisable to lower the targretin medication dose.
Dr. Melmed is very friendly, listens to you and all you have to say, explains what we need to do and tells us when we need to change our treatment. I would gladly recommend him to anyone. I have great confidence in him.
Dr. Melmed has a kind bedside manner. He clearly explained options for chemotherapy. He takes the time to answer any questions. When my husband had concerns, Dr Melmed spoke with him patiently and eased his mind. Dr. Melmed listens to his patients and reviews the medical case to provide the best care. I’m grateful to have him as my oncologist.
Dr. Melmed is an amazing oncologist on many levels which I appreciate sincerely. So patient/compassionate besides being an excellent doctor to go beyond what is expected on all levels to show he wholeheartedly cares for his patients. He exercises his God given talent to put me at ease to explain each/every step of treatment to allow trust/comfort. I’m really grateful and blessed to have him as my mom’s oncologist. Dr Melmed tries his best to address my side effects from the chemotherapy. He clearly explained how we don’t know if regimen works until much later after the treatments end. I have MMR issues as well as my age kind of against me.
My last visit to Dr. Melmed went well as usual. Both he and his staff were friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions.
Dr. Melmed is professional and has always treated me as part of the team. We discuss my blood work and how I feel about changing the quantity of medication I take. He is a rare Doctor. He listens intently when I ask questions or if I'm telling he about my health between visits. I trust him to be open and provide the best possible health care.
Dr. Melmed is thorough, patient, caring, and personable. I appreciate the depth of his knowledge and his sensitivity in proper handling of cancer patients for whom the diagnosis and treatment may be scary.
