dr. Gavin Melmed is a wonderful and very understanding doctor. he always concern with you and what you are going thur. I always enjoy each time , that i have a new check day. if you need a great doctor for cancer. you could not pick a better one than Dr. Gavin Melmed. He is the very best.

This was my biannual checkup visit. Dr. Melmed sat on one side of the room and I sat on the other.
Not only would I recommend Dr. Melmed I have discussed Dr. Melmed and Texas Oncology with several friends who have family with cancer. Dr. Melmed has been there for me since I received my cancer diagnosis. He has taken the time to explain all my options and is always willing and ready to answer all my questions. He along with several other doctors are my team who discuss options for my case and come up with a plan to treat my cancer effectively.
Always patient, professional, friendly and kind. Gives you his upmost attention. Never in a hurry. He's the reason I was able to face cancer with confidence.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Melmed to my family and friends. He is knowledgeable and professional with a sensitivity to his patients' needs and concerns. He will allow you the time to ask questions, without making you feel feel rushed. Dr. Melmed has demonstrated that he is a person who genuinely cares for his patients and his staff. I am blessed to have him as my Oncologist.
Dr. Melmed has always been very kind and caring, going above and beyond in finding answers to questions and test results. My last visit with him was the first time I had gone to the new location. The purpose of the visit was a follow up to a routine six month scan. I was glad to hear a good report, and we scheduled another test in six more months.
