Dr. Spotter performed a cervical disc replacement a few years back, after seeing two other neurosurgeons, I chose Dr. Sporrer , he explained in details the surgery during and after, he took his time, never rushed 3 hrs. while the other two doctors estimated 1 to 2 hours. My recovery was two weeks which was shorter than the estimated 3 to 4 weeks, you can barely notice the scar. I have recommended Dr. Spotter to families and friends because he is a Great Surgeon, Honest, and Humble human being.
Would not examine me or discuss treatment. I have RA and ankolyzing spondylytis and am in constant pain. He literally threw me out for no reason.

I had an excellent result from a very complicated Rotator Cuff/Labrun surgery. He thoroughly explained everything including the intense pain I was going to have after the nerve block wore off and how to handle it as best as it could be handled. I listened to everything he said, went to full 6+ months of Occupational Therapy and he was stunned how far I had come in such a short time and I am in my mid-60's. Highly, highly recommend to see this very skilled surgeon, top of the field. Cindy Dodds

He may be a competent doctor, but he is vindictive when you express opinions as to other doctors in his group, refusing to give referrals while you change to another PCP.
