I live in Dallas, Texas. I flew to S.C. and met with my dear friend of 50 years. We drove to Gatlinburg and our room was waiting clean and inviting. Both double beds slept great. Large flat screen TV, coffee pot in the room, hair dryer, iron & board and French doors to patio with 2 rockers facing the street. Kristy and her housekeeping were great. first stay I must admit had a little shock at first with just how historic it is with the wood floors and wood doors time period furniture a actual key not a card but after a few hrs was really starting to appreciate the historic value comfortable beds great breakfast friendly staff makes you feel very welcome. came time for checkout the inn had a hold on me love the place. nice relaxing sitting area's with fireplace inside and outside nice location easy in and out highly recommend takes you back to a simpler time .
The hotel was nice & the breakfast was very good; however, our room not so good. Very poor lighting: no lamps, it did have a vanity dressing table with NO lights. You could not see to put on make-up or to fix your hair. The vanity in the bathroom was no better; no room to lay anything on. The carpet looked very dirty!! Will not stay here again! Staff was quite pleasant but it stops there!!

It's like stepping back in time. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The hot continental breakfast is a real plus, but the clincher,...........It's right snack dab in the middle of everything there is to do in Gatlinburg.
Love staying at the Gatlingburg inn. so clean so quite. The staff was so nice spoke to us every time we came in or went out,, I would recommend the inn highly..awesome experience..

Great Stay!!!! Staff was very polite and friendly. when we got there found out we were choose for a upgrade from a king room to a suit. Wow!!!! Breakfast was very good. will be back...
